Donations

Thatcher’s Coffee was built on foundational values of community, connection, and generosity. We love serving excellent coffee, but we’re always asking ourselves how our work can have a greater impact in our local community.

Thatcher’s Coffee Donation Program

***Our donation programs were paused due to the negative financial impact of COVID. We look forward to re-evaluating our program and resuming a donations program soon! – Jamie, (she/her), 09/2022

In 2018, we launched the Thatcher’s Coffee Donation Program. Each month, a Thatcher’s employee chooses a local nonprofit organization to support & we donate a portion of monthly sales to the organization of their choosing. The Thatcher’s Coffee Donation Program reflects our commitment to serving our local community, as well as encouraging our employees to authentically show up for themselves so they can authentically show up for others. We’d like to sincerely thank YOU for supporting us – without you, this wouldn’t be possible.

Since implementing our Donation Program, we have had the privilege of supporting the following organizations:
YWCA Clark County, Oregon Wild, Shared Hope, Share Vancouver, Daybreak Youth Services, Rocksolid Teen, NWCAVE, Hudson’s Bay Foundation, Veterans Relief Project, Northwest Association for Blind Athletes, Assistance League Southwest Washington, Santa’s Posse, Bridge the Gap for Kids Clark County, Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette, Tilikum Southwest Washington Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Children’s Home Society of Washington, SafeChoice, Girls Inc.,  Clark County Food Bank, Columbia Springs, Southern Poverty Law Center, ACLUVSAA, and too many local schools to keep track of!

Bring Your Own Cup Donation Program

In 2018, we officially became a Clark County Green Business! One of our exciting sustainability initiatives was to implement a Bring Your Own Cup Donation Program. Each time you bring your own cup, we donate ten cents to a local environmental organization.

In 2019, we supported Watershed Alliance of Southwest Washington.

In 2020, we supported Columbia Land Trust.

In 2022, we supported Moms Demand Action to help end gun violence and protect our kids.
