Thatcher’s Coffee is a local, woman-owned business, and we care deeply about supporting the community that supports us. We make most of our sauces and syrups from scratch, and you will never find artificial ingredients in our shop. We use responsibly-sourced coffees from Roseline, Heart, and Olympia Coffee, in addition to rotating guest roasters. Some of our past guest roasters have been Methodical, Ritual, Sweet Bloom, Kuma, and more. We’re currently featuring Onyx Coffee Lab!
We carry a wide variety of loose-leaf, quality teas from Jasmine Pearl, Tao of Tea, Tanglewood Chai, and Saku. We bake a variety of seasonally inspired pastries in-house, many of which are gluten-free.
We opened our doors in 2010. In the following years, we have cultivated a community space with great coffee and pastries, genuinely kind service, and a welcoming environment.
In June of 2016, Jamie officially became the sole-member owner of Thatcher’s Coffee. This marked an exciting chapter in the history of Thatcher’s. We introduced a handful of new delicious, local products. We also began to solidify a collective set of values that would act as the foundation of how we do business, how we treat our customers, and how we treat each other. At the end of the day, our foundational values all come down to kindness and hospitality. We are passionate about treating our customers and our coworkers with compassion, empathy, and respect. We strive to create an atmosphere that is warm and welcoming – this encompasses everything from the way we greet you when you walk through our door, the presentation of the products that we serve, the clean and light-filled environment, the smell of coffee and pastries, and the sense of comfort that we cultivate.
We love our community and we love what we do.
